Services for James Edgar Myers Sr., 86, of Cleburne will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. in Martin's Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Wayne Shuffield will officiate.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Myers, Justin Myers, Amber Hodges, Steven Myers, Michael Bubp and J. T. Ross.

Mr. Myers died Sunday, September 19, in Cleburne.

He was born Sept. 13, 1913, in Cleburne, the son of James Henry and Alberta Harless Myers.  He married Gladys G. Ward in Cleburne Sept. 22, 1936.  He was a lifelong resident of Cleburne.

Mr. Myers was owner of Myers Plant Co. for more than 60 years.  He was a member of North Cleburne Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Myers of Cleburne; three sons, James E. Myers, Jr. and Glenn C. Myers, both of Cleburne, and Gary D. Myers of Burleson; one daughter, Linda G. Point of Glen Rose; one brother, Rudolph Myers of Hurst; three sisters, Eunice Powell and Pauline Banks, both of Fort Worth, and Ruby Livingston of Waco; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. in Martin's Funeral Home.
