We are Genetic, Information Seeking & Processing, and Social Creatures.
Our bodies are one of roughly three million species built from a DNA code, which contains three billion letters. At the DNA level, humans are 99.9% identical. We arrive in the world with biological functions that are seeking air, liquids, food, and information to ingest and process.
From birth, our brains absorb every drop of information they receive from their sensory organs to create Belief Models they use to construct internal maps of the world outside the body. Each model has a name, associations that add more information to the name, expectations connected to the name, and strategies based on the expectations. of that reflect the environments and relationships that shape us.
Who we emerge from everything we’ve interacted with: our environment, all of our experiences, our friends, our enemies, our culture, our belief systems, our era — all of it. There is in fact no way to separate yourself from the rich context in which you’re embedded There is no way to separate us from the rich social context in which we are embedded.
