Christ, according to the flesh, was "Son," but the divine element in him was the "Father."

There is one divine nature.

The Father and the Son have this one nature in common,.

They are separate and distinct so far as their persons are concerned.

Each has a specific function.

At the same time the Father gave a distinctly subordinate place to the Son.

The Son is not eternal.

God revealed himself as the Father who created all things and gave the law to Israel. 

When God undertook the work of salvation he took the form or mode of the Son. 

When the work of the Son was completed, God took the form of the Holy Spirit.

200 CE Christian

Our Instructor is the holy God Jesus, the Word, who is the guide of all humanity. 

God exists in different modes; as ingenerate, God was Father; as generate, he was Son. 

Christ is not human, he is the Logos or Reason who organizes the world.

Christ was created by God the Father and is subordinate to him.

The soul passes through a succession of stages and embodiments before entering the body.

After death the soul will pass through a succession of stages before arriving at God.
